Saturday....
Why is it that I have the chance to sleep in and can't? Hmmm??? Kind of twisted! I even found Jen up..she woke up at 6 a.m. and I woke @ 6:17....weird. We played computer solitare for a while and now she is off to do her thing. Even Zach was up by 7. Char and Cory......now, they are my sleepy-heads!

I am blessed to have this house full of love. They keep me on my toes. Jealousy runs deep now that Jen is here...but they still love her. As much as they would hate to admit that, I know they do...why else would they set out to make her life a living he** most days? The teasing, the aggravation, the laughter and yells. Whew! It is enough to tax even the best soul. I am happy to say, she hangs in there!

Last night she gave me a note asking me to pray for a boy in one of her classes. He broke up with his girlfriend and is sad. She said that her heart was heavy and just needed someone to pray with her. I wrote her a note back and gave it to her this morning...bet that is where she ran off to.

Our whole relationship started with a note, really. She wrote a note to me and sent it home with Zach this past March (maybe it was the end of April??), but she wanted to say Hi and a few other things. I can't even remember what all it said, I do remember that I told her she could send me notes anytime she wanted to and that she was more than welcomed to come over anytime. Within a few short weeks we had taken custody of her!! God is good. Oh so good.

Notes....I have always been good at writing them and it looks like she may be as good! I look forward to the next few years with her! Seth was also good at them. The others...well...I don't really even know if they can write...ehheeheh! Even Char has only written me maybe 2 notes in our 18 years together! I wish I were better at articulating my ability in a blog! I guess I just need practice and a solid topic!
