CAREER thing....

OH yeah! I had an interview with my friend. Now she has left the company, but forwarded my resume and a strong recommendation for me on to her Regional Supervisor who in turn forwarded to the interim GM. Guess what?? He called me last night and we are interviewing on Thurs. morning. I have spoken to my friend now and she will be emailing me a kind of 'script' to help me along with regard to asking the 'right' questions..especially in light of her leaving and a new GM not yet in place. There are lots of things for me to cover...and with my lack of experience in the 'working world', I tend to get caught up in the moment and forget that I am there to interview them as well! Also, anytime there is a major upset in a facility, there are tons of things to consider. Been there, done that.....with the daycare I took over and anything I can do to better prepare myself, the better off I will be! My friend is much more apprehensive than I....and rightly so, she just left the company and her perspective is a bit jaded right now. I did tell her that I am following the leading of the Lord and if he opens a door, I am going through it because I trust him alone. I just feel too much peace about things right now.
