Meet April.
She is a Christian vocalist who has now completed her next cd. She is a local to my hometown...in my beloved Tennessee. Quite talented. Anyway, she asked if I would do some photos for her cd cover. How honored I am! Well, we headed to Paducah and visited Whitehaven visitors center then headed to my favorite location: downtown Paducah. I love the old area around the Market House Theater. Love the textures of the brick and architectural details. The brick paved street is divine and things are quite unique there. I guess it is a favorite to many photographers and I am no different.
Well, these are the shots I have printed for her to review for selection on that cd cover. Do you have a favorite? Speak up...Char and I can't agree totally on our favorite one. We do agree on the one with the geraniums/denim jacket as being a good choice but there are 2 views...he likes one, I like the other! :)
FYI...the ivory dress she is wearing in part of the pix was made by her grandma for her mom's 8th grade graduation. April felt led to wear it for this shoot. Her mom died from cancer recently so it holds quite the sentimental place in her heart. The whole cd was inspired by the events of her mom's life and death.
